A FAMILY AFFAIR
Proprietors Emma and David Symons are the fourth generation to work from the premises, changing its role from a hardware shop to a restaurant in 2008. Emma runs the floor of the restaurant and David is the creative force in the kitchen.
The Black Rock is one of only five restaurants in Cornwall to receive the prestigious Bib Gourmand Award from The Michelin Guide. This indicates the inspectors’ favourite establishments, offering high quality food and good value for money. We are very proud to receive this award in 2014 for the fifth year running!
We now have an opening date for this season! The Black Rock will re-open on Thursday 19th of March 2015 at 6pm. Take a look at the new spring menu under ‘Eat’ above. We look forward to seeing all our guests again this year!
